Well took me a while to read, but DigitalCommunist has a great point here, and i think something should be done, im seeing more and more people going to WoW, i have a few ideas on a better EVE, now we all know about skillpoints ETC, they reflect on how long youve been playing EVE, FX a guy playing since BETA whould be havong at around 20-25 mill SP, or somewhat, now this guy might be filthy rish and stuff, and wants to create a new account so he can play 2 players at same time, but also knows that it will take him good 3-5 months before he can do that cause he needs to train that account upp so it is able to use something decent, FX MWD, guns, ships ETC. Why not integrate into EVE some schools, meaning, a player could go into a station in some system, and that station whould have a type off school, lets say like a Gunnery School somewhere, and a Industry School somewhere else, a Social School and stuff, and players whould have the oppertunity to train 1 off their skills upp to another level faster, fx 10% faster if you pay this and this much and 20% and so on, but at a max rate off around 70% put whould cost almost your soul. Now a veteran player in EVE can create a new account and use his stack off ISK on something, i know that some player have means off generating tons off amounts off ISK, that might make them supperior, but thats where the 70% and LOTS off amouts off isk come in, meanining he could only do it for a small ammount off time cause it whould just get more and more exxpensive, but i think this is a fair deal, or you could make another option, pay large ammounts off isk, and you a rank 1 skill from lvl 4->5 in 12 hours, on the cost off that the player in question, has to stay docked at that station for those entinre 12 hours.
Now i think this is a great idea, even for noobs joing EVE now they could instead off having the same option i had 1 year ago, at choosing a race and than a few skills, they could choose skills, and be alloved to put a total off 10-20 levels in those skills, meaning they whould start with 2-4 rank 1 lvl 5 skills, or 1-2 rank 2 lvl 5 skillz or something.
Now im just bringing ideas upp, dunno if anybody cares but there they are, and i think they are good |
